Main purpose of position


Currently we are looking for an Asset Senior Analyst in São Paulo, SP– Brazil to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. 

As our Asset Senior Analyst you will Support the Asset Manager comprehensively executing and monitoring all commercial and administrative tasks, commitments, responsibilities and undertakings belonging to each Project Company;Support the Asset Manager acting as the Project Company’s General Manager vis-à-vis their respective Boards of Directors and all third parties, and in accordance with the terms of the Management Service Agreement; Supporting different Business Units of Scatec throughout the projects’ phases of construction and operations.

The position also includes office and regulatory administration duties.

 

Main responsibilities 

 

  • Contractual and Statutory Compliance of Project Companies -  Compliance with, monitoring of and updates to Regulations applicable to Project companies; Procuring compliance under the terms of Project and Financing or constitutional Documents; Interpret, review and manage execution plus compliance of contracts; Obtain and support continuing compliance with all consents, licenses and permits as well as applicable Laws and Regulations; Maintain all statutory registers and do all statutory filings; Ensure compliance with the insurance policies, the timely renewal and certification; Support the compliance and further improvement work related to the applicable health, safety and environment (HSSE) requirements as well as social and development obligations.   • Financial Management - Financial Management - Update & improve the Financial Models and cash flow tools monthly; Conduct financial analysis on profitability, cash flow and financial model results (budget to actual, trend etc.); Support Asset Manager to cooperate with the Finance team to; Prepare invoices, monitor collection of revenues & submit to customer.; Receive and approve incoming invoices; Identify and propose operating cost reduction initiatives; Liaise with the account bank(s) and execute bank transactions; Co-operate with finance team to ensure timely completion of audited financials; Prepare annual budgets for Project Companies.   • Corporate Governance, & Reporting - Prepare the following reporting for shareholders, lenders and management (Board packs/Operating reports/Compliance certificates/Management accounts); Preparing information, minutes & resolutions for the Board meetings or the General Assemblies of local companies & Netherlands BV holding structures; Monitor key regulations and laws applicable to the companies and renewable industry; Monitor & report on compliance with key covenants under contracts.   • Operational Oversight of Project Companies - Monitor the plant’s electricity production, downtime and performance, in cooperation with the O&M Contractor prepare production root cause analysis; Analyse the variation proposals received from the O&M or EPC Contractors, Review or prepare cost estimates related to corrective maintenance, spare parts and warranties.   • Other Tasks - Support the local and global project organization beyond the local Finance & Asset Management Team in Asset Management process development.

 

  

Qualifications and competencies 

 

  • Degree in law, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration
  • At least 3-5 years of working experience within the areas of contract management, project-related asset management or project finance-related banking or advisory, corporate finance or controlling.
  • Regulatory knowledge of Brazilian Markets
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese, spoken and written.
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in renewable companies

Is an advantage:

  • Renewable energy industry & Power market exposure.
  • Experience with Project Finance & Contract Management is an advantage.
  • Experience with legal contract interpretation, review and administration.
  • Experience in budgeting and cashflow management.
