Main responsibilities 

  • Responsible for developing a comprehensive impact measurement framework to track performance and measure return on social investments. 
  • Lead the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to assess and optimize effectiveness on programmes. 
  • Support reporting on community investments to the Implementation Office, Board of Trustees, and Board of Directors. 
  • Support the development of Scatec’s strategic direction for community investments, including ensuring a sustainable project pipeline of impactful community investment projects for our host communities. 
  • Manage relationships with service providers to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and timely delivery of services. 
  • Establish M&E database systems to assess the impact of our community investment initiatives ensuring accurate and real-time performance tracking. 

Qualifications and competencies: 

  • University degree within Social or Environmental Sciences, Economics, Impact Investing, Monitoring and Evaluation, Development Studies or relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in the development sector or working with monitoring and evaluation
  • Expertise in quantitative and qualitative impact monitoring methodologies, with a demonstrated ability to develop monitoring and data collection tools
  • Ability to manage internal stakeholders, service providers, partners and diverse community stakeholders is required 
  • Strong project management and planning skills
  • Proficiency in designing, building, and refining M&E databases is preferred
  • Experience in using data analysis and visualization tools is an advantage
