Main purpose of position
Currently we are looking for an Intern Asset management in Sao Paulo – Brazil to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our AM Intern you will be assisting and supporting the Asset team with different tasks related to Financial Management, Corporate Governance & Reporting and Operational Oversight of Project Companies.
Main responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and verify data for financial models and cash flow, as well as prepare financial reports, comparing budgeted versus actual results.
- Assist with administrative tasks and the collection of financial documents, supporting the preparation, sending, and monitoring of invoices and revenues.
- Help in researching cost reduction initiatives and creating reports.
- Support in executing transactions and maintaining financial records.
- Assist in communicating with the finance team and preparing documents for audits.
- Support in collecting and organizing data for annual budgets.
- Help in preparing reports and documents for shareholders and management, including gathering information and drafting.
- Assist in researching and monitoring applicable regulations and laws, preparing summaries for the team.
- Help in collecting and analyzing data related to contract compliance.
- Assist in gathering data on electricity production and performance, and in preparing basic root cause analyses.
- Support in the preliminary review of variation proposals and cost analysis related to corrective maintenance and spare parts.
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and analyzing corrective maintenance, spare parts, and warranties.
Qualifications and competencies
- Currently studying for a degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Systems & efficiency (PowerBI, Python, process automation) is an advantage.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English both spoken and written way.
- Proactiveness, critical thinking, work independently, good communication and organizational skills.
