Main purpose of position
Currently we are looking for a Logistics Coordinator in Tunis, Tunisia to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our Logistics Coordinator you will provide a coordination service to the Project Management Team and O&M with regards to Procurement and Logistics through sharing information and ensuring that projects are executed on time and successfully.
Main responsibilities
Operating System
- Follow the guidelines and prescribed structures as outlined by the operating system
- Provide continuous input towards improvement and optimisation of the operating system
- Successfully implement the operating system throughout the structuring and execution phase of the Project
Delivery/execution phase
- Prepare contracts for relevant service/material suppliers
- Ensure that signed contract is returned, shared on document management system and communicated to Project Team
- Create and maintain logistic schedules
- Manage all Customs related documents
- Ensure that the milestone project documentation is obtained, shared on the operating system and communicated to Project Team
- Maintain the logistics execution plan per project
- Receive invoices and check against contracts/purchase orders and delivery notes from site and recommend for payment or reject with reasons
- Obtain updated delivery advise from Suppliers and align on deliveries with Project Team
- Ensure that handover of spare parts list and material to Operation & Maintenance team is done
- Provide warranty register and handover to Operation & Maintenance team
Strategic procurement: prepare all purchase orders for local procurement and arrange logistics to support delivery of assets to site
Qualifications and competencies
- Diploma Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- 3+ years’ experience in renewable energy construction projects, with specific focus on Wind and Solar PV projects will be advantage
- 2+ years’ experience in Procurement Operating System
- Excellent knowledge in Excel, MSWord, and PowerPoint
- Good understanding of accounting systems like SAP / D365
- Knowledge and experience in Logistics and importation process locally in Tunisia
- Good knowledge of the local Supply and Construction industry
- Must be able to work extended hours
- Excellent communication skills, convincing personality, customer, and goal oriented
- At least Intermediate English both written and spoken. Fluent Arabic and French
- Independent and self-dependent working, good organisational skills
- Proactive and initiative-taking, Process driven
- Good negotiation skills, building relationships and trust
- Analytical thinking
