Main purpose of position
Currently we are looking for a VP Internal Audit in Oslo, Norway to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. 
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for  providing independent assurance that the company’s risk management, governance and internal control processes are operating effectively.

 

Main responsibilities 

  • Develop and maintain the internal audit framework for the group.
  • Monitor compliance with the groups ICFR framework (Internal Control over Financial Reporting), anti-corruption program and code of conduct through ex post audits.
  • Develop a risk-based annual internal audit program.
  • Conduct scheduled internal audit activities in accordance with a defined audit program, and event-based audits when appropriate, e.g based on whistle-blowing channel.
  • Set up and manage cross-functional project-teams as needed to perform internal audits, drawing on internal and external resources if appropriate and systematically help develop the company’s talents.
  • Report to management and the Board’s Audit and Sustainability committee on a quarterly basis.

Qualifications and competencies 

  • Education: relevant field within Auditing
  • Broad experience from the Finance function in a listed company and/or an existing internal audit function.
  • Ability to develop the internal audit function based on the company’s strategy.
  • Establish processes and carry out plans to operationalize the company’s internal audit targets.
  • Language: fluent both written and spoken in English
