Project Finance & Investments Manager

Main purpose of position

Currently we are looking for a Project Finance & Investments Manager in Oslo, Norway or Bucharest, Romania to join our dynamic team. As a Project Finance & Investments Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial success of renewable energy projects across Eastern Europe and Tunisia. You will lead financial evaluations, risk assessments, and manage the financing process from inception to financial close. This is a high-impact position where your expertise in financial modelling and transaction management will directly influence strategic decisions and value creation for Scatec

Main responsibilities

• Financial Modelling & Analysis: Build and optimize complex financial models, conduct cash flow analysis, and evaluate project scenarios.
• Structuring & Negotiation: ensure optimal debt structures, support in setting up off-take and partnership arrangements, and prepare due diligence documentation.
• Project Financing: Negotiate with lenders and work closely with equity partners, manage approval processes, advisor workstreams and ensure smooth financial close.
• Research & Market Intelligence: Assess new technologies (including BESS), explore funding opportunities, and develop regional financing expertise.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the financial counterpart to Business Development teams, ensure seamless integration of project inputs and support senior management decision making

Qualifications and competencies

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field (MBA/CFA is a plus).
• 5+ years in front-office Project Finance or Structured Finance.
• Proven experience in transaction management and financial modelling (MS Excel expert).
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build stakeholder networks.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
