Main purpose of position

Currently we are looking for a Procurement & Suppy Chain Specialist in Bogota-Colombia to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our Procurement & Suppy Chain Specialist  you provide a procurement service to the relevant business unit through frequent reporting and ensuring that goods are delivered on time, within budget and compliant with procurement policies and within the expected quality requirements. Including contracts administration of the various supply, services and construction contracts and where necessary offer input into the relevant Head EPC Contract administration.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Support vendor onboarding and supplier management processes.
  • Issue RFPs/RFQs, evaluate proposals and manage Purchase Orders.
  • Assist in the preparation and administration of supply, service and construction contracts.
  • Ensure proper documentation control and maintenance of procurement records.
  • Support internal approval processes and contract distribution.
  • Monitor and expedite critical orders and supplier deliverables.
  • Assist in the review of shipping and logistics documentation and Follow up.
  • Maintain reporting schedules and procurement tracking.
  • Support project teams to ensure contracts are properly closed out at project completion. 

Qualifications And Competencies

  • University degree or diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain or contract administration roles.
  • Experience working with procurement processes, Supply Chain, supplier management and contracts administration.
  • English B1+

Ideal:

  • Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure or EPC projects.
  • Experience supporting civil works and electromechanical construction packages.
  • Experience working in international or multinational project environments.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain or contract administration roles.
    Coordinate with local advisors and project teams to support documentation required for UPME benefit applications and approvals related to goods and services for renewable energy projects.
  • Experience in logistics operations and customs clearance procedures in Colombia
