Main purpose of position
We are currently looking for an Accounting, Tax and Reporting Coordinator in Bogotá, Colombia, to join our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future.
The mandate is to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting and analysis, tax management, and accounting oversight, safeguarding the quality and integrity of financial information across the organization.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate the timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements prepared by the external accounting provider.
- Review and validate financial information before internal reporting, audits, and corporate submissions.
- Upload approved financial data into the Group’s ERP in line with reporting standards and internal timelines.
- Contribute in the preparation and updating of the annual budget and carry out deviation analysis.
- Prepare and update cash flow forecasts.
- Ensure full compliance with Colombian tax obligations and regulations.
- Prepare periodic tax reports and support tax compliance reviews.
- Perform calculations related to interest, fees, and other financial metrics.
- Support the update of financial models with actual performance data for reporting purposes.
Qualifications and competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in accounting, tax, financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting cycles.
- Preferably previous experience working in a Big4 firm.
- Preferably experience or strong understanding of renewable energy projects, including financial and regulatory aspects.
- Strong knowledge of Colombian tax regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Indispensable knowledge of IFRS and ability to prepare accounting analyses and memorandums.

- NIIF (IFRS)
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP or financial reporting systems.
- Solid proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
