Why this role matters

Currently we are looking for a Project Developer - in Delhi, India to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our Project Developer you will be responsible for leading the development and structuring of renewable energy projects (wind, solar, hybrid and storage) in India from early opportunity through the development cycle to financial close. Your ability to structure and negotiate complex transactions, to lead external and internal development processes, and to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams is key to successfully lead the project to construction start.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will:

• Driving renewable energy project development and growth
• Leading strategic partnerships across the clean energy ecosystem
• Overseeing land acquisition and project feasibility assessments
• Managing regulatory, permitting and grid connectivity processes
• Negotiating commercial agreements and development contracts
• Evaluating investment opportunities and project economics
• Leading project acquisitions and portfolio due diligence
• Delivering projects from concept through Ready-to-Build (RTB)
• Managing cross-functional stakeholders and external partners
• Enabling successful execution of Solar, Wind, Hybrid and BESS projects
• Your work will support real decisions, real assets, and real operational outcomes.

What you’ll bring

Experience and qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, Law, Power Management, or a related discipline. 
• Proven track record in developing utility-scale renewable energy projects in India. 
• 10-15 years of relevant experience in renewable energy project development, infrastructure development, project acquisitions.  
• Strong understanding of land acquisition, permitting, grid connectivity, power evacuation, and regulatory frameworks.  
• Experience in commercial negotiations, transaction execution, and contract management.  
• Exposure to project acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships will be an advantage.
