Main purpose of position

Currently we are looking for a Site Planner and coordinator, Buciumi Project - Romania, to join our global team. You will be responsible for monitoring the site activities and supporting the projects in line with all core processes, procedures, templates and tools interfacing with the contractors to ensure that services are provided with the agreed quality and efficiency. Act as coordination point between site stakeholders to ensure good collaboration environment.

 

Project location – Comuna Buciumi, Judetul Bacau

 

Main responsibilities 

The successful candidate will own site planning activities and will also support site coordination and facilities-related tasks during project execution.

This role is site-based and requires hands-on involvement throughout the project lifecycle.

 

Project Planning & Control (Primary)

  • Assist the Senior Project Planner in preparing and maintaining the Overall Master Project Program, including WBS integration and baseline preparation.
  • Review contractors’ Planning Packages (Baseline, Program Basis Memorandum, histograms, S‑Curves).
  • Coordinate schedules from multiple contractors and consolidate updates into the master program, including bi‑weekly/monthly histogram analysis.
  • Track and monitor daily site activities, identify deviations, analyze gaps between planned and actual progress, and support recovery planning.
  • Prepare and update construction KPIs and planning dashboards.
  • Support contractual planning matters, critical milestones identification, and planning‑related notifications.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare Construction Daily Reports (graphical and numerical) based on site progress and equipment delivered.
  • Follow up on contractors’ reports in line with contractual requirements, verifying quality and completeness.
  • Prepare look‑ahead schedules and contribute to:
    • Monthly Progress Reports
    • Program updates and S‑Curves
    • Critical Path Analysis
    • Cash‑flow‑related milestones
    • Extension of Time (EoT) inputs and planning reports

Site Facilities & Logistics (Secondary)

  • Coordinate basic site facilities, services and support procurement in cooperation with contractors.
  • Assist the Site Manager with logistics and administrative coordination, including working hours, rotations, accommodation, expenses, and cost tracking.

Qualifications and competencies 

  • Technical (Engineering, Construction, Project Management) or Administration Education
  • 3+ years working with renewables projects, EPC project planning and scheduling
  • Experience with construction of high voltage networks and sub-stations, civil construction projects
  • Previous experience in project planning, project management, procurement or logistics platform, contract management, document management
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Planning Tools - Primavera, MS Projects
  • Language: Fluent both written and spoken in Romanian and English
