Overview

At Scatec, you get to work on something that matters. We develop, build, own, and operate renewable energy solutions that accelerate access to reliable and affordable clean energy. As part of a global and agile organisation, you will work with skilled colleagues across functions and geographies, take real ownership, and contribute to a company driven by the vision of improving our future.

At the heart of everything we do is our belief that we bring the energy - the energy for change, connection, and growth. It shapes how we collaborate, innovate, and create impact together.

If you are looking for a role where your contribution is visible, your development matters, and your work supports a more sustainable future, Scatec may be the right place for you.

Ready to make an impact?

Why this role matters

As the Data Management Lead you will implement and maintain enterprise-wide data governance, quality, and management practices across Scatec globally. This role will ensure that data is treated as a trusted, reliable corporate asset across all global teams and operations — serving as a single source of truth that enables both regulatory compliance and data-driven decision making.

What you'll be doing

  • Implement and maintain enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and a data catalogue in line with Digital & IT practices.
  • Support the establishment of data ownership and accountability across business units, including governance of master data domains.
  • Identify data quality risks and lead clean-up and remediation initiatives to ensure data is accurate, complete, and reliable.
  • Drive data standardization across the organization — including naming conventions, taxonomies, and data classification — and maintain data lineage to ensure data is traceable across systems.
  • Oversee data lifecycle management, including retention, archival, and secure disposal of data in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with Enterprise Architecture and the Data Platform team on data standards, architecture decisions, and system implementations.
  • Support the data readiness roadmap for AI, working with the Data Analytics & AI team to ensure data is well-governed and fit for purpose.

Your work will support real decisions, real assets, and real operational outcomes

Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority

Hands-on experience in a role where the challenge is energising, fast-moving, meaningful, and built on learning through doing

Ability to drive cultural change and build data literacy across a global organisation
