Why this role matters

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of international and local logistics activities that support the successful delivery of renewable energy projects. By coordinating shipments, customs clearance, regulatory approvals, transportation, and logistics documentation, this role helps ensure materials and equipment arrive safely, compliantly, and on schedule, enabling uninterrupted project execution and effective cost control.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate international shipments, vessel bookings, transportation activities, and delivery schedules with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers.
  • Manage import and export documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and readiness for customs clearance and audits.
  • Handle ACID registration processes through NAFEZA and coordinate Cargo-X documentation requirements with international suppliers.
  • Coordinate customs clearance activities and regulatory approvals with customs brokers and relevant governmental authorities.
  • Monitor shipment progress from origin to final destination, proactively resolving logistics, transportation, and documentation issues.
  • Review logistics service provider invoices and support cost tracking, payment processing, and logistics budget control activities.
  • Prepare logistics reports, shipment status updates, KPI dashboards, and performance tracking reports for management.
  • Support logistics planning for project cargo, oversized shipments, and renewable energy equipment while ensuring compliance with project timelines and regulations.

Your work will support real decisions, real assets, and real operational outcomes.

What you'll gain

  • Professional growth through ownership, exposure, and meaningful contribution from day one.
  • Hands-on experience in a role where the challenge is energising, fast-moving, meaningful, and built on learning through doing.
  • Exposure to international logistics operations, customs processes, and renewable energy supply chains.
  • Opportunity to work with global suppliers, regulatory authorities, logistics partners, and cross-functional project teams.

What you'll bring

Experience and qualifications

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, supply chain operations, or import/export coordination.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience managing shipping documentation, customs clearance processes, and international transportation activities.
  • Familiarity with NAFEZA, ACID registration requirements, Cargo-X, and Egyptian import regulations is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, coordination, and stakeholder management skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written.
